NO ANIMAL TESTING

The ethical principles that have been guiding the work of our company since its foundation in 1957, are the attention to Man and the natural Environment considered as a unique inseparable.
Our belief is summed up in the concept that cosmetics are food to our skin, so it is important that they are formulated with natural, organic ingredients, grown according to the rhythms of nature and time, in full compliance with all forms of life on Eart.
For that reason our certifed products:
* do not contain preservatives or artificial colours, silicones, lacquers or substances obtained form the killinf of animals
* are not tested on animals, adn raw materiales that compose them are from short and controlled chain
* are tested on volunteers and subjected to skin tests on volunteers from independent institutes
All our natural products are certified or undergoing certification by CCPB, institution known for the application of strict constraints and stakes in the provenance of ingredients and formulations.
The ingredients and products that meet the technical standard NT/CB01, NT/CN01 respect all limits and prohibitions imposed by law on animal experimentation.
From a legislative point of view, it should also be noted that from 11 March 2009  has entered into force the
Decree 50/2005, which states:

* A ban on animal testing for ingredients or combinations of ingredients;

* A ban on animal testing on finished products;

* A ban on marketing of finished products being tested in animals and products containing ingredients or combinations of ingredients tested on animals.
For the tests concerning repeated-dose toxicity, reproductive toxicity and toxicokinetics, the deadline for implementation is established in 10 years, that is on 11 March 2013. Such experiments, however, concerns only the active ingredients of  chemical / synthetic origin and / or new and unknown raw materials. Our company, dealing only with raw materials of vegetable  organic origin , is not involved in these processes.
Our Company, in accordance with their ethical principles, is determined to continue the line of respect for all living beings, and to contribute to the development of an increasingly free, smooth and clean market.
